The colonists felt they had to declare their independence for many reasons. But the main reason they felt that way is because they were treated unfairly by the British. The British king would tax them in many ways. Including the sugar act that would tax the colonists for eating items that had sugar. The stamp act was also an unfair law that was passed by parliament. Another reason they wanted to declare their independence is because British passed laws to punish the Massachusetts colony, the colonists called these laws the intolerable acts.

The colonist wanted independence cause they had to have people like soldiers in there home and feed them. The people who had soldiers in there house, they also had to provide weapons, food, and other stuff. They also wanted more independence cause the tea act and with that act they got taxed. With the intolerable act they didnt have privacy cause of the people in there house like a soldier or someone like that. Colonist wanted independence to have rights and freedom. ;D ^_^ x__x XD

The colonist were mad at the British army and king George. The king passed all these laws that tax tea, paper, and they had to house a soldier. The colonist were mad because they had no representation. The colonist rebelled and they attacked several tax collector hose. The colonist declared independence. The declaration of independence didn't only have freedom speeches, but it also had facts that accuse the king of abuse.

Another reason that the colonists wanted to declare independence is because the colonists would get taxed for sugar. The third reason is that they had the intolerable acts. The colonists needed to have a soldier to live with them and buy them food &' supplies. That's why they wanted to declare independence .

Colonists came to America to get away from King George II. But this didn't work. Being here colonists were put several acts some including the sugar act, stamp act, quartering act, townshend acts, and the interoble acts. Colonist felt that this was enough and decided to declare independence. They didn't do this in one day. They did this over period of time. But finally we were the United states of America

The colonies felt that they had to declare thier independence because they didnt have rights. The colonies felt also like that because they were imposing taxes without the colonies knowing. When the colonies wanted to have thier rights fairly they didnt have rights to choose what they wanted. The thing that the colonies didnt like is that the king made each solider to live with a family. The colonists didnt like that because that the soliders were in the colonists space also that you needed to pay for the soliders food .

They declared Independent because king George lll started rules or politics that colonies didn't vote. It started by winning a war and king George lll didn't have enough money to protect the land. Then he started to put troops in colonies homes without their permission and that made the colonies mad. Later he began a suger act, stamp act, and quarting act that made the colonies upset. In each each state , a colonist came to the first continental congress to discuss the problems that were happening. The second continental congress was the most imoprtant because 56 representatives signed the first deceleration of Independence that they swered their soul and scared hanor. In that part they declared themselves Independent.

The colonists declared their independence because they were being taxed extremely high. The colonist had no one representing them in parliament. Also they were being taxed without representation. They were violated of what they believed were there natural rights.

I think they felt that they had to start their independence because they started taxing them. They started taxing them without representation. They also started passng acts about what they had to do like letting a soldier live with them. All of this started getting them mad so they did the Boston tea party because of the tax on tea. So this led to their independence.

There are many reasons why the colonists felt they had to declare independence. First of all they passed a lot of taxes in which colonists had no representation. They sent many petitions to the king for peace through all but he rejected and punished them. Many colonies felt that they had no voice so the started to think about being independent.

The colonies felt like they had to declare their independence because king George was putting harsh taxes on the colonies without their consent. Also known as taxation without representation. The colonies wanted more rights ,but the king kept denying them. The last thing the colonies could do is to win the war against England to be free. That was why the colonies felt they needed independence.

The colonists felt that they had to declare their independence because they had to pay lots of taxes. They also felt like that because they had almost all their rights taken away. King George ||| was a realy fancy tyrant. They wanted equal rights for everybody and didnt wanted to be treated unfairly. Also they thought taxation was wihout representation. Finaly colonists wanted to make their voice valuable and herd by voting.

The colonies felt they had to declare their independence because the british were taxing too much. The british started manny acts such as the Quartering act, stamp act, and the tea act. Another thing that caused the colonies to seperate is the proclamation of 1763 this would not let the colonist to settle west of the Appalachian Mountains. Also taxation without representation angerd the the colonist this would tax the colonist without lettimg the colonist to vote on this act

Thr colonists had to declare their independence because the king was being to "bossy". He put many acts such as the sugar acts, the stamp acts, the intolerable acts, and the tea acts. This made the colonists mad. They try to make peace with the king such as sending an olive branch. But the king rejected, and made colonists mad. So they have decided that they don't want to be governed by the king. So they decided to declare their independence

Colonists felt like they needed to declare their independence because they were not treated fairly. They were taxed on things they used often which made them extremely angry. They also had their rights taken away, anything to do with trade and other important things. They were fed up with everything, they wanted their rights back and they wanted to stop taxation. It was time for them to finally declare their independence.

There were many resons why the colonies felt that they had to declare their independence. Most we're because of the laws or acts the king passed. They passed the qurartering act which meant that the colonists had to provide housing and supplies for British troops. This made the colonists mad. Then they passed the sugar act which only affected merchants.

The third reason was the intolerable act it was call the intolerable act because all the colones couldn't stand the acts. those are three reasons why the colons waned there Independence.

The colonists felt that they had to declare their independence because of all the things King George the third did, taxation without representation, and many different acts. The colonists got taxed and didn't even vote and agreed to be taxed. The acts were the Quartering Act, Sugar Act, Tea Act, Stamp Act, Townshend Acts, and the Intolerable Acts. There was also the Proclamation Line of 1763 that said that colonists couldn't move west of the Appalachian Mountains. Because of these reasons, the colonists decided to write the Declaration of Independence and declared themselves independent from Britain.

The colonies felt that they had to declare their independence for many reasons. one of the reasons was because they were taxed without representation because in lesson 1 it states "Taxation without representation is tyranny!" also because King George III was making all these different acts like the Stamp Act, Quartering Act, Sugar Act, Intolerable Acts, and the Townshend Acts. Then after making all these acts the colonists decided they were going to boycott British goods because in lesson 1 it states "Later, colonial merchants organized a boycott of British goods." So this is why colonists decided to declare their independence because they were so angry and tired of having to listen and follow King George III rules.

Colonists declared their independence for several reasons. For an instance''taxation without representation''.One example of colonist being taxed is the Stamp Act which they were taxed for all''legal and commercial documents''.Another reason is for the Tea Act in which they were taxed for tea and contributed to the Boston Tea Party. The third reason wasn't because of taxation it was because they weren't given privacy at their homes with the passing of the Quartering Act which obligated them to house soldiers. For all the reasons above, lead colonists to declare their independence.

Colonists felt they had to declare their independence because they wanted freedom and to declare their rights. Another reason is because Americans and British troops were fighting this led the colonies to declare their independence. The pamphlet of Common Sense written by Thomas Paine made a strong case for American independence. Also the Common Sense became published and it sold more than 100,000 copies in three months this made many people to know about their independence. As a result the congress adopted to the proclamation of independence. The decleration of independence gave the freedom and right to form a new government that will protect their rights.
