3 things i learned today: 1. Constantine build a wall to protect his city and people. 2.Valens was an emperor. He build an aqueduct 150 miles long. 3.Basil the second was overtaken by the thought of revenge that he blinded many men and left one with only one eye, which is cruel:)

3 things i learned on the Byzantium Empire is that its the eastern part of the roman empire that survived. A powerful ruler named Justinian brought the empire to its height and made succesful accomplishments like the Hagia Sophia and the hippodrome.Also about their engineering that gave us ideas on some of the things we have now.

3 things i learned about the Byzantine empire is that it became strong and powerful. Constantine ,one of the emperors, built aqueducts to bring water to the city since people were dying of thirst. Another thing is that Constantine moved the capital of Rome to Byzantium and renamed it Constantinople. Lastly Justinian ,another powerful emperor, married a woman named theodora a dancer and prostitute 2 years before his reign.

3 things i learned was....1.they had a problem with many attacks and had to build a wall but the wall did not stay for long so they rebuild it but did three walls to be secure. 2.basil the 2 was an emperor that was hated because he blinded all men but out of 100 men 1 was left with one eye and the rest didn't have an eye left. 3. constantine became known for his beautiful master piece the "hagia sophia" it was especially build for his religion christianity . 10/31/2016 04:31:42 pm
The 3 things I learned were that the eastern part of the empire fell to invadors in 410.Also that there was beautiful architectures in constantinople, such as the hagia sophia,hippodrome, and the Mese.Finally, I learned about many emperors and what they did to help the empire.In my opinion, emperors back then were ruthless and cruel.

1.I learned that Justinian was gone leave but his brave wife convine him to stay. 2. Justinian told his men to kill people in the riot and over 33,000+ citizens were killed. 3. Basil captured 100 citizens and left all bLind but only 1 with 1 eye.

3 things that I learned today:1.That TheoDosous was the one who had the idea of building the wall ,but the wall was very tall ,wide ,and it had 3 walls put in one single wall so it was very strong.2.Valens was an emperor. He build an aqueduct 150 miles long.3. Basil the second captured many men and left them blind but only 1 man with 1 eye.(:which is cruel:)

3 things I learned from the Byzantium empire is that the Eastern part of the Roman Empire survived. Also a ruler named Justinian took the empire to its highest success. I also learned that Bazil the second sent to create the biggest dome which is the Hagia Sophia.

The 3 things I learned today was that, Constantine killed his late wife, brother, and son. Another thing I learned today was that Constantinople was built on a fault and finally that the Huns raided villages ate raw meat and captured and raped women. So those are the 3 things I learned today.
