1 moment that was memorable to me was when they cut off kuntas toes so he wouldnt run away anymore. Another memorable moment was when kunta was on the canoe and the people that saw him, were songing so they wouldnt hear any noise coming from kunta. It was very touching to know they did t feel envy toward kunta but even better tried to help him

The majority of the scenes in Roots, taking into account the two episodes we've seen, all have a deeper meaning and a significance that added to the events that later unfolded. As previously discussed, the first episode was chalk full of heart tugging moments that became memorable to several of us as I can recall. But the second episode was just as sentimental. To me, there were several moments that caught my attention but the ones that really received my full attention were the scenes which involved Kunta Kinte enlisting to join in on the ongoing war. It was almost relieving in a sense to see him become hopeful once more. To see him believe that he'd regain the freedom he had long since been robbed of. Not only that but the fact that he was able to connect with the others there gave it a sentimental touch. Yes, I have to admit that one of the major factors that made it so memorable for me included the fact that it contained gore filled scenes but there's more to it than that alone. Having to sit there and watch Kunta try to stay whilst also avoiding capture put me on edge. I knew that he would get captured, we all did, but knowing that detail made it all the more suspenseful. In short, the scene that was most memorable to me was mainly the moments where we watched Kunta Kinta take part in the battle.

One of the many scenes that were touching and memorable to me from Roots, episode two was when Kunta Kinte got out of bed even though half of his foot was cut off and he did his job. Even though he kept falling he always got back up and tried again and that really inspired me and made me have even more respect for Kunta Kinte because he showed me and proved to me that no matter what obstacles you have, no matter what you go through, and no matter how you look you always have to keep trying and never give up.

The most memorable part of eposide 2 in roots will be when they toke Kizzy away. I think it's the most memorable because Kunta and Belle as being the parents it hurt them knowing they weren't going to see their Kizzy ever again. Also since they were slaves they have no option.

The most memorable part of episode 2 was about to drown her son but then all the memories and will of her parents convinced her not to. The reason is because the fact that she wanted to drown her own son was very depressing and sad but when all the memories and will of her parents convinced her not to do that it made me happy and joyful inside. So that was my most memorable moment.

The most memorable part of episode 2 of "Roots" is when kizzy is taken by force and gets sold to a men which, then rapes kizzy as in a sexually, and brutally way. In those times raping is showing power but it's really sad that she unintended gives birth to a child. And also not knowing for the fact if she will ever see her family again. She gets to the point where she disgrace her child's life and wants to drown him knowing that he came from a rape situation.

What was most memorable to me about roots was when they took kizzy, its not right for people to take away your child. Kunta and Belle must have been heart broken. Kizzy tried to run away but sadly could not. Kizzy was then sold and raped by her master and was raped through her adult life.

The most memorable moment was when Missy has taught Kizzy how to read and count but to how much trust they had on each other no matter what their skin color was. Also when Missy was just learning to read and told Kizzy we will both learn to read together.

In Roots Episode 2 their were a lot of scenes that go to me. One is when they took Kizzy, Kuntas Daughter away from her family and her bestfriend Missy. And other one was at the end when she held up George. Just like Kuntas father Omor did to him same did Kunta do that to Kizzy and now she did that to George.

The most memorable moment for me was when Kunta joined the English army. It was the most memorable because not only didn't the English give them guns, they made Kunta and the rest go ahead of the army defenseless to guns with just spears. It was not fair at all. And the second most memorable was when the white folks were asking what was on Kunta's shirt and made fun of him for it. I didn't like that at all because they were just adding insult to injury after they caught him.

In the second episode of "Roots" I had two memorable scenes. The first was when kunta was on the canoe & the other salves were were making sound so they can cover up the sound that kunta made while passing by. The other scene, I found memorable was that when they chop off his toes for trying to escape. The reason I found it memorable is because salves will try to do anything to have their freedom again.

One of the most powerful momements out of many in episode two, in my opinion would be when Kunta Kinte´and Fiddler were going to name Kizzy, Kunta's daughter with Belle. As the two walked through the woods Fiddler, like always asked if naming their child after the stars was one of his"AFRICAN" ways. Kunta laughed and replied that naming a child was the mans job in Africa but he wanted Fiddler to be there as his family to go through it all. At that moment we see that Fiddler means alot more to Kunta than he thought. To ruin the warm feel some men came and spoiled their touching moment. The men wanted money or Kizzy, Fiddler took action and made a distraction and at the same time sacrificed his life for both Kizzy and Kunta.

For me, the most memorable scene from Roots, Episode 2, was when Tom Lea raped Kizzy. This scene was unforgettable because this brutal act was just very painful to watch because he was taking her virginity in such a horrible manner. Nobody deserves being raped not even a slave back in the day. Rape is about power not sex, and it's sad that it's still happening today.

There were as many powerful scenes, as there were scene lines. One particular scene was when Fiddler sacrificed his own life to save Kunta Kinte and his daughter, Kizzy, from the white men that wanted to tax them for being out in the road late at night. Fiddler and Kunta don't have money, so the men try taking Kizzy instead. Fiddler sacrifices his life to help Kunta and Kzzy escape back home.

I have two memorable moments from Roots episode 2! One of the memorable moments was when Noah got killed, because he had faith, when he got out from hiding he killed one of the guys but everyone saw so they started shooting Noah. When they were shooting Noah, Noah didn't give up and kept trying to run but the more he ran the more they would shoot, so he died it was very heartbreaking )):. The second memorable moment was when they took Kizzy away from her parents, because it showed how much her parents loved her and wanted to stay all together as a family. But Kizzy was well trained by her father, Kunta Kinte, so she knows how to take care of herself ((:!!
