2. Write a paragraph explaining which of the modern tools described on these pages you consider most important and why.
Read the "Connect to Today" feature about Renaissance Advances on pages 443 and 443 in your textbook. Then do the Activities on page 443. Consider both activities to be "Write about it" activities. Write your responses to the following prompts here:

I think one of the Renaissance idea that had the greatest impact on the technology is cartography.I think cartography Has a great impact because before they didn't know where was the continets and they didn't know there was north and south America and now you can locate any where you are.

I think that the greatest impact on technology was cartography. cartography, or map making , became more scientific during the Renaissance. The Europeans began understanding more about the world around them. this led to the idea of global Positioning Systems. this helped people get to their destination by GPS. For me this was the greatest impact on technology because it helped people know where they are and where they have to go.

Cartography was a great impact because now we have satellites that can helps us with our directions. If It weren't For Cartography and Mapmaking we would be lost in every direction we go. But thankfully it developed and now we have GPS' on our phones so we can find our way to places.

For me the greatest impact of technology was engineering. they was use engineering to advance the Renaissance. In my opinion engineering is important because we still use it to create almost all of the thing we use today. now there is many types of engineering.

The renaissance idea I think had an impact in the modern world is human anatomy. In the past Vinci drew a picture of the human body.since people didn't know about the human body.since people didn't know about the human body many people might have died because of a sickness or disease. Now,in the present we have much more understanding about the human body.We get images inside our body with MRI,x-ray,etc.Now that we have more understanding there will be less deaths because of sickness or disease in the modern world of today.

Human Anatomy had the greatest impact on the technology that followed it because without it we wouldn`t know if we have any broken bones.Did you know that the mri uses magnetic fields to create two dimensional and three dimensional images of the bodys tissue.

The one i think that had the greatest impact was learning about human anatomy. The reason for this is because if it werent for leonardo Da' Vinci cutting open dead people and examining and drawing their insides and people learning that the heart is the one that actualy pumps the blood,we probably woudln't know much about the human body in the present.

In my opinion I think human anatomy is the greatest impact on the technology that followed it because if we are sick or something broke inside us we can see inside us by doing (MRI). It's like doing a x-Ray to see if a bone is broken.

I think cartography was the greatest impact in technology. I think it's cartography because you could just tell it in a machine and it will tell you were to go.It would tell you to go left or right it tells you exactly were to go.Also with out it we would just be lost on the street.

Talk about it-I think it would have to be cartography because now we could use GPS so just in case someone gets lost our GPS would help us and now we have GPS in our mobile device

I think it was human Anatomy. If we didn't now what was happening inside our body We should have be dead. With an x-ray now we see what we have and what does our body make.when you got sick they would make medcine to cure what you have in the system. That the heart pumps blood to the whole system. That you breath with your lungs.
